The Mole's subterranean fortress features specialized chambers that can extend for hundreds of feet. These hidden underground highways are used to journey safely here and there. Danette Laate's young fluorite beneath the ground creature has turquoise eyes and a Zuni Sunface symbol from jet, coral and turquoise. The Sunface symbol represents harmony and balance of the elements. Approximately 2 1/2" long, 1 1/8" wide and 5/8" tall.

No two fluorite minerals are alike. This couldn't be more true in Zuni artist Waldo Davis' charming Bear. Its beauty lies in the fascinating inclusions and dimensionality of the fluorite. In fact, there are subtle hints of green plus some rainbow flashes on the top and bottom of the bear, in addition to the back legs. Eyes have a friendly guiding spirit. We're not totally sure what they are from, which makes this approximately 1 7/8" long, 1/2" wide and 1" tall bear all the more special. View item

Floating with the ocean's current, Danette Laate's gorgeous young fluorite sea Turtle's incised carapace has watery blue turquoise inlays. Endearing eyes from turquoise are set to a nicely turned head. Powerful flippers are specialized for aquatic movement. These important and endangered ocean reptiles spend a lot of time near the surface of the water as they're air breathers. When they nest ashore, hatched eggshell and nesting remnants nourish beaches making them strong. About 1 7/8" long, 1 1/2" wide and 5/8" tall.
