This 'grandmother necklace' has fetishes carved by many members of the renowned Quandelacy family, including Faye, Georgia, Sandra, Albenita, Andres and Brian Yunie. Called a 'grandmother necklace' because one like this was first made as a gift for Ellen Quandelacy, the head of the family. The center picture jasper buffalo dancer pendant, with fossilized ivory horns and a mother-of-pearl rattle, is 2 5/8" tall and is strung with red coral and a lively medley of other colorful beads. Overall length is adjustable from about 25" - 28 1/4". Materials used include jet, mother-of-pearl, turquoise, apple coral, azurite, and spiny oyster shell. A masterpiece! - $950.00
