Many decadent and colorful ingredients like angelite, turquoise, mother-of-pearl, jet, orange, purple and red spiny oyster shells, lapis, magnesite and fine heishe marry beautifully in this single strand bird fetish necklace by Robert.
The center bird, about 2 3/8" long, 1" wide and 1/8" thick, is carved of purple spiny oyster shell and is inlaid with red coral, lapis and turquoise accents. The longest bird measures about 1 1/2" long while the shortest is 1 1/8". Overall necklace length is about 33 1/2" long. Their eyes are of inlaid lapis or turquoise. - $450.00

The substantial black lip shell corn maiden, accented with a diamond shaped cabochon of rare sugilite, red coral and turquoise, measures about 3 5/8" tall and 2 3/8" wide, slightly concave. She's incised with Dragonfly and other interesting geometric designs. She exudes a peaceful tranquility.
This offering is a unique collaboration between Daniel, who did the carving work and his wife, Jovanna, who strung the necklace of stunning red coral beads. Overall length is a fashionable 21", slightly adjustable. - $750.00

A while back, The Museum of Northern Arizona's 'Heritage Program Festival' bestowed an 'Honorable Mention' silver ribbon upon a commanding pipestone sculpture titled 'Six Maidens in a Cornmeal Bowl', a work by Todd in a style similar to this fetish necklace and earring set!
This fossilized ivory corn maiden necklace is about 25 1/2" long, slightly adjustable, featuring a center pendant, 3" long and 1 1/4" wide, displaying six corn maidens emerging from a cornmeal offering bowl, etched with Dragonfly designs. Each maiden has inlaid sterling silver eyes and wears an inlaid turquoise necklace. There are eight other individual corn maidens on this necklace as well, carved with the same care and detail as seen on the center pendant. They are strung with fine heishe shell, turquoise, sterling silver and pearl beads.
The complimentary earrings hang at 2 5/8" long, including dangle fixture, and are 1/2" wide.
Todd is a descendent of carver Johnny Quam. - $900.00

A truly outstanding amber multi-animal double stand fetish necklace that is approximately 32" long. All the fetishes seen here are carved of amber beads, each unique in their color and their curious contents trapped within.
The center amber Eagle is about 1 1/2" long and has a 1" wingspan, inlaid with turquoise. Other animals joining in are Fox, Wolf, Coyote, Bear, Mole, hummingbird, fish, Turtle, Frog, Badger and Mountain lion. They all have inlaid eyes of turquoise and are strung with fine turquoise beads. A pair of bird earrings that hang at 2 3/4" including dangle fixture complete this captivating set. - $1500.00
