This is an exciting piece by Daniel, who has used slate to carve a flowing feathered friend. The slate feels nice to touch, as it has a cool smoothness to it.

Of richly patterned serpentine flecked with gold, black, and green, Mountain lion's heart-line and eyes are of inlaid turquoise.
