After hatching from an egg, the tadpole, sometimes called a 'polliwog', is gill-breathing and legless, moving itself by means of a tail. During the period of metamorphosis it develops lungs, legs, and other organs of an adult Frog, losing its tail. Sweetly carved of ricolite, this tadpole pair is almost 1 3/4" long and 7/8" tall. - $48.00
