Cradle Doll by Spencer Nutima, Hopi
Carved from the traditional material of cottonwood root, this is 'Ha hai Wuhti,' or cradle doll, the protector of babies. The cotton string from which to hang this katsina is in keeping with the style of presentation seen in Native homes. We have heard stories of children taking them to college to hang in their dorm rooms. About 9 1/8" tall, about 3/8" at thickest part and 3 1/8" wide at shoulders. - $58.00
