Tipi liner decorations are considered a traditional home blessing in tipi living culture. Peter said this one is 'The trout that ate Pecos', a community just north of Santa Fe that has a great river for fishing. He said this fish got away, but it was as big as his truck! Sounds like a fish story to us!
This tipi liner consists of a fish, a truck and two four directions carvings, all carved from garnet schist. Soft suede fringe is also added. The fish is about 4 5/8" long, 1 1/4" tall and 1/4" thick. The truck is 5" long and the four directions are about 1 1/2" across. Overall length is about 15" including fringe. - $120.00
