This traditional leaf necklace was carved from always refreshing turquoise by Sarah Leekya. As a teenager, Sarah learned to carve by helping her father, Leekya Deyuse, with his polishing. She has continued carving in her father's style, helping collectors develop a deep appreciation for the old-style fetishes. Leekya Deyuse was famous for carving leaves in his jewelry. This charming necklace is strung on natural coral with bits of turquoise. About 29" long from one end to the other. It lays beautifully, which is evident in the picture of Sarah wearing a similar creation!
