This pint sized Mountain lion was carved by Dee, the talented student, and nephew of Gibbs Othole. Hematite is one of the most difficult materials to carve, as it heats up excessively and must be given time to cool. Dee is one of the few carvers who attempts, and has mastered working with this mineral. 1 1/4" long and 1/2" tall. - $80.00

Carved from a wondrous piece of Boulder opal, resembling the territory in which it roams, this superior Bison is about 2 3/4" long and 1 1/2" tall. Dee pointed out that you can actually see through the bison from the vein running through the center/middle, when held to a light source!
