We welcome Glendora to Keshi's website with her fabulous fish pot! All hand formed of natural clay and hand painted with natural paints, Glendora utilized the 'sgraffito' technique of ornamentation in which a surface is incised to reveal a ground of contrasting color.
Many joyful and playful fish swim around air bubbles and other fascinating elements on this pottery that's almost 4" tall, 2 3/8" deep and 3 1/4" wide at top. The bottom is incised with her signature corn stalk motif, as she's from the Corn Clan.
Glendora comes from a long tradition of Jemez pueblo pottery making as her grandmother, Juanita Fragua was a famous artist. Glendora's won countless awards and this amazing piece will be a cherished addition to any pottery collection! - $500.00
