 
 
Six Directional Set by Melvin Sandoval, San Felipe-Zuni
Here's Melvin's wonderful interpretation of a directional set carved from Texas soapstone. Each animal has an inlaid colored heartline to represent each direction.
The Eagle of the Zenith, is about 3 1/8" long, inlaid with a many colored abalone heartline. Mole of the Nadir measures 2 5/8" long with a black jet heartline. The Mountain lion of the North, comes in at 3 7/8" long and is inlaid with a yellow gold lip shell heartline. The Bear of the West measures about 1 3/4" tall and almost 2 3/8" long with a blue turquoise heartline. The South is represented by a Bobcat that's 3" long , inlaid with a red pipestone heartline. And finally a Wolf of the East is 3 3/4" long with a white mother of pearl heartline. - $420.00
