Georgia's amazing double strand Bear and Turtle fetish necklace is carved from a myriad of materials, joined by many animals. The center bear pendant is carved from jet and inlaid with a turquoise heartline and pipestone eyes, and measures almost 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" tall. The turquoise Turtle is 1 1/8" wide and 5/8" thick, and has a nicely incised shell that's inlaid with red coral.
The materials in this double strand necklace include jet, turquoise, coral, apple coral, fossilized ivory, mother-of-pearl, lapis and gold lip shell.
Bear, Turtle, Mole, Hummingbird, Owl, Horse, and Eagle are amongst the animals, and some are also inlaid with Zuni sunfaces and heartlines. This is a classic necklace strung on turquoise interspersed with other colorful beads.

Here's Melvin's wonderful interpretation of a directional set carved from Texas soapstone. Each animal has an inlaid colored heartline to represent each direction.
The Eagle of the Zenith, is about 3 1/8" long, inlaid with a many colored abalone heartline. Mole of the Nadir measures 2 5/8" long with a black jet heartline. The Mountain lion of the North, comes in at 3 7/8" long and is inlaid with a yellow gold lip shell heartline. The Bear of the West measures about 1 3/4" tall and almost 2 3/8" long with a blue turquoise heartline. The South is represented by a Bobcat that's 3" long , inlaid with a red pipestone heartline. And finally a Wolf of the East is 3 3/4" long with a white mother of pearl heartline. - $420.00

Stewart's carved twelve other wonderful animals such as Horse, Mole, Bear, bushy tail (Fox, Wolf or Coyote), Turtle, Mountain lion, Eagle, parrot or macaw, Badger and Hummingbird. The detail within each one is amazing! One of the smaller bears has an inlaid Zuni sunface with an inlaid alternating heartline. The turtle has a shell of many tiny inlaid turquoise stones.
