Mallard Pendant by Rolanda Haloo
The mallard is thought to be the most abundant and wide-ranging duck on the planet. They prefer calm, shallow sanctuaries, but can be found in almost any body of freshwater across Europe, Asia and North America. The male, or drake, is the more distinctively colored of the mallards. Its familiar green head sits a top a white neckband that sets off a chestnut-colored chest and gray body.
Rolanda's mallard drake pendant is extraordinarily lovely and set into sterling silver. The head is of colorful malachite, eye is of marble, body is of pen shell, mother-of-pearl, fossilized ivory, turquoise and marble. 1 1/2" long and 3/4" wide. - $120.00
