A Grand Collaboration Necklace by Daniel Chattin

Six strands of dreamy angel skin coral beads play keeper to carvings contributed by Daniel Chattin, Jovanna and Veronica Poblano. First off, eleven melon shell corn maidens in varying sizes were carved by Daniel, each with a turquoise or coral accent. They also have subtly incised Dragonfly on them. Then two vividly blue turquoise birds carved by Veronica, are inlaid with red coral and lapis stones on both sides. Finally, twelve birds in both green and blue turquoises were carved by Jovanna, who also beaded the glistening silver clasp closures.
This collector's necklace is a notable expression of creative unity and artistic excellence!
About 30 1/2" in total length, while center corn maiden with red coral accent is 1 7/8" tall and 1" wide. Veronica's blue birds are about about 1 7/8" in length. - $4500.00

Finest Feathered Friend by Veronica Poblano

This extraordinary bird by Veronica is featured in this summer's 2011 National Museum of The American Indian Magazine advertisement for Keshi.
At about 3 7/8" long, 2" tall and 1 1/2" wide at base, this melodic bird is carved of Kingman turquoise resting in crushed red coral. Along side this bird is a piece of scrumptious branch red coral on a base of Sleeping Beauty turquoise.
With lapis eyes, this feathered friend has wings that are inlaid with hand cut sections of lapis, red coral, angel skin coral and pen shell. Each wing is uniquely different and soft incising marks add more feather detail.
No one carves like Veronica, daughter of famed carver of old, Leo Poblano. Her sterling silver signature label is attached under the base. - $3400.00
